Metal Gear Solid has a history of providing revealing outfits for many female characters, but on his English Twitter, world-renowned game director Hideo Kojima has admitted that these outfits are created with the purpose of encouraging cosplay, to advertise the game, and selling merchandise.
Kojima says that we may see something like this in future for Quiet, as it’ll apparently be easier to recreate.
Whilst we understand that a business needs to make money and that cosplaying is a great form of advertising, we feel that a strong, fully-clothed female character can do just as well as an erotic, revealing one.
