Sony’s online game streaming service PlayStation Now will soon offer a new monthly subscription that gives access to the service’s 100+ PS3 titles, Sony announced this morning on the PlayStation.Blog. There will be two plans available starting January 13th in North America; $19.99 for a single month or $44.99 for three months.
PlayStation Now has been in open beta since late last year, allowing players to rent games on a per-title basis for a specific amount of time. The subscription plan will give users access to all the games the service offers. Subscriptions will initially only be available on the PS4 beginning next week but Sony hopes to roll out to other PlayStation Now enabled devices in the future. As part of its launch, players will be able to take part in a free 7-day trial of PlayStation Now’s subscription as well.
Also, players can download a fee PlayStation Now theme on their PS4 and be automatically entered to win a year subscription to the service. Act quickly though, because you have to download the theme before January 31st in order to qualify.
