Lost Dimension is unique in the way that some of your allies will become traitors as they game goes on, and it’ll be up to you to weed them out before you get to the end where they’ll turn against you in the final boss battle.
Danganronpa is another game that sees you pointing out and eliminating traitors although that’s primarily a visual novel, whereas Lost Dimension is a turn-based RPG. The new trailer doesn’t show off any gameplay sadly but this is one of my most anticipated titles of the year – I love knowing that my choices in a game will have weighty consequences. The End is a threat that can destroy the entire world and so your special forces team, SEALED, with their unique abilities were put together to destroy The End and you can strengthen bonds between your teammates and get to know them in scenes that seem to be similar to Social Links in Persona and Free Time events in Danganronpa, meaning that the traitor may be someone you really wanted to be with until the end.
Lost Dimension releases physically and digitally this Summer on both Vita and PS3 in Europe and North America.
