Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype is coming to the PlayStation Vita later this winter, the developers at SideQuest Studios announced today.
The shoot’em up sequel to Söldner-X: Himmelsstürmer was originally released in 2010 on the PS3. The Vita port aims to be a “console perfect port” that will run at a smooth 60 frames per second on the handheld with little load times, a feature that’s vital when it comes to the bullet madness that happens on screen and where even the slightest movement mistake can mean the difference between life and death.
Everything from the original PS3 version of the game will be included in the Vita port, such as the 10 main stages, challenge mode, and online scoring. The Vita version will feature it’s own high score tables and a new set of trophies to collect, however. Söldner-X 2 will also support Cross-Buy, so those who have already purchased the game on the PS3 will be able to download it on the Vita at no extra charge.
Söldner-X 2: Final Prototype will be available sometime this winter. Be sure to also check out the new teaser trailer below.
